Fishing Whip Holder Competition Style

this is design inspired by a CNC aluminum fishing rod holder used in competition fishing for Herabuna. a special kind of carp that is very finicky. a long reel-less telescopic rod is used, generally float fishing.

this holder is compact and the two arm fold flat into the frame so it doesnt stick out. it is flat mounted onto a cooler normally that you sit on. but feel free to experiment. i tested this holder (PVA print) with a 3.6m whip and a full 1kg of force on the tip. the holder didnt suffer any damage.

the arms are the part that hold the screws as the holes are slightly smaller and oval, so the screws rotate with the arms. the arm mounting holes accept screws up to 22mm~ long
coarse thread screws recommended.
