@jwalkerwade_182869 Depends what you want. The Apex is really built around being convenient for a very specific kiss build. As far as frame resonance and tuning I've found my Apex and Source one preform pretty similar.
So price considered, yes the source one blows away the apex at 40 dollars for similar performance and more room to build.
I was highly unimpressed with the under plate stack mount on the apex, not only is it annoying, the heads on the screws in my kit did not sit flush and I had to grind them down. More than one aluminum grommet stripped out, and one of the arms was so out of spec in thickness I had to shim it with a piece of electrical tape to keep the carbon from flexing down badly. Pretty silly for a $125cad frame.

@FeistyLemur_331516 yeah I had little issues with my second apex frame too. sometimes its not worth the hassle dealing with returning stuff either. but yeah just a personal preference I guess.
