Yes, you can print on glass with the Bambu Lab X1! You need to tweak the start code in the slicer a little bit, because there is no special mouth cleaning area. Reduce the y values over 260 to over 250 in the === wipe mouth === section. I have added my adjusted start code, no guarantee whatsoever :-), changes are marked with ***.

Steps:

  1. Rotate the stl-file by 90 degrees around y-axis
  2. Clone object
  3. Mirror object along y-axis
  4. Print in ABS (not PLA), use normal infill, use support (easily removable)
  5. Fix glass on bed
  6. Print with bed leveling enabled for the first print
  7. Done
