I like to go on short hikes and have my LTT water bottle with me, attached to my backpack. Whenever I needed to drink, I had to take my backpack off to reach the bottle, which is needlessly difficult with a heavy backpack. This is why I designed my own bottle cap that fits to the LTT water bottle, featuring a nozzle that accepts a 13x10mm tube on both sides, which connects to a Source hydration mouthpiece. With this I can have the bottle in its pouch on the backpack, and have the tube and mouthpiece easily accessible for whenever I need to have a drink.
The multipart design allows easier printing, cleaning, and air passthrough. It is not completely waterproof, so having the bottle lean on a significant angle will cause some water to leak out, unless further modified with a silicone airlock insert. Further down the line I feel like it is good to attach a small hose clip to tighten the upper tube, else it might leak a little.
Since there is water passing through the printed tube, make sure your used material is food safe, or at least treated properly. In the photos, the white version is a trial one, made of PLA, while most of the gray parts are acetone vapor smoothed ABS.
