Thank you for this, I have printed one but have yet to fit it.
Obviously the 'cross piece' of the printer needs to be removed to fit it are there any problems with this? does the 'cross piece' locate in exactly the same position or do I need to check the Z axis alignment after.

This was the kit that I bought, keep in mind that the stepper motor that it comes with oritentation is flipped so you need to switch some of the pins in the cable which is super simple I would look online. But make sure the pins are correct before installing everything.

Great design! I hadn't really put any thought into this before seeing your design, and it fits it like a glove. Hope that this helps out with the overall longevity of my Kobra.
Nice little addon for your Kobra. I haven't yet noticed any difference in print quality, but there are too many variables that need improvement. I have used [618/8] 688-2RS C3 * (8X16X5) PFI USA bearing. Fits very snugly, which is good. May require pliers to get it in. Be careful with screws, cause the can destroy the walls of the piece
