Notes:
Shortly after I purchased my 3d printer, I found this toy at a church yard sale, priced at $1.00. I bought it, but it did not include any of the pieces. I thought "I could 3d print the shapes with my 3D printer!".
Two stars are included here. One was created in Openscad with sharp points, and the rounded-corner version was created in TinkerCAD.I probably had more fun creating these, than I did playing with a similar toy when I was a toddler. Print and enjoy!
Good OpenSCAD learning project
I was inspired by Thing https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1070884.
But that triangle had sharp corners, and this sorter looked to have shapes with more rounded corners. So, I took to learning OpenSCAD. I was able to get a star (but with sharp points) created in OpenSCAD, but was not successful creating a star with Rounded corners in OpenSCAD. Therefore, the rounded-star was created in Tinkercad.
