πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ Willkommen in Deutschland!

Welcome to Germany!

The Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor in German) is an 18th-century neoclassical monument in Berlin, built on the orders of Prussian king Frederick William II. Throughout its existence, the Brandenburg Gate was often a site for major historical events and is today considered not only as a symbol of the tumultuous histories of Germany and Europe, but also of European unity and peace.

It was designed by Carl Gotthard Langhans, based on the Propylaea, the gateway to the Acropolis in Athens, Greece, and built between 1788 and 1791. Atop the gate is a sculpture by Johann Gottfried Schadow of a quadriga - a chariot drawn by four horses - driven by Victoria, the Roman goddess of victory (from Wikipedia).

This model carries some of the original elements from when MiniWorld3D founder, Dany SΓ‘nchez, modeled it back in 2014. It has since been updated with a bit more detail and eliminating overhangs.

Printing Tips

Suggested parameters:

For better details, print slow, such as 20mm/s for outer perimeters.
Fine-tune retraction to avoid stringing.
Perimeters: 2
Top layers: 3
Infill: as low as 12%
Brims or rafts: not needed

No supports needed, it should bridge fine between the pillars. You may use supports if you want clean surfaces.
