Orangutan face off - remix

Last night my wife and I were watching some animal show on netflix. Rather, she was watching and I was on my tablet looking for things to print. She mentioned to me that she thought orangutans were cute and she wouldn't object to me printing her one, and here we are.

One thing i was able to pickup from the show was that the faces are much lighter or at least a different color from the rest of their body due to a lack of hair. So I imported the original model into meshmixer and followed this awesome tutorial https://youtu.be/-3Qgq34OAQo

to plane cut the face off, add a snapfit pin and I added another hole for some filament to lock it in orientation and the end result is a face different colored than the body.

I did support the belly on the body part. but that is the only spot I supported.

And if it makes you think of Nicolas Cage saying "i want to take his face...off" then we should be friends.
