The following datasets were used:

Steps:

  1. Combining the height model and the landscape model into a single large 3d Model with QGIS and some postprocessing with AccuTrans 3d.
  2. Cutting the file to a region of interest with Superslicer
  3. Generating the puzzle stencil with OpenSCAD and a script from a prusa3d blog post.
  4. Using blender to cut the model with the puzzle stencil
  5. Separating parts into individual files with Superslicer
  6. Slicing for 3d printing with PrusaSlicer 2.5.0-alpha3
    • Using the new Arachne engine to improve printability of small houses
    • Using the new lightning infill (10%)
    • printed at 3x scale on a modified Ender3Pro → approx 1:7'000
  7. Glued onto an MDF board with epoxy
  8. Mounted to the wall using Wall Fixing designed by ZacSimmo
