V2 Update: Made the every side a little thicker. Switched out the attach point for a square hole. Discovered printing sideways helps with some rigidity as a whole, but can weaken the card “fingers” that hold the card in and get a little ugly.
Wanted a thick/tough/rugged id badge holder for two cards. Other holders end up being too thin and break too soon after bumping and catching it on equipment that I work with.
So I took an existing badge(linked in remix) and heavily modified it to do a few things.
Print Settings:
I've printed multiples so far at different quality. Seems 0.2 - 0.28 is a fine range. Also use supports to hold the top overhangs. Tried recently with two color printing. I did 3 walls with alternating extra walls at 50% to help the keyhole area not break.
