Bench Corners for Sacrificial Tops

These corner brackets let you add a sacrificial 12 mm MDF top layer to your desk or bench and keeps it from sliding off the bench. Its suitable for 22mm thick desktops (such as some IKEA desks). Especially useful for light drilling, cutting and saw works.

Screw the corner onto the edge of the desk from below. Then measure your desk and get a piece of 12 MDF cut by a department store or wood supplier near you. Drop the top layer on top of the desk. If you don't need it you can take it off, store it and you'll be able to use the desk for office work.
