This is a housing for keeping push buttons handy on the edge of sheet metal housings and guards. It has a 16mm through hole for stainless steel push buttons and the housing fits a 1.8mm thick sheet metal edge (dimension includes powder coating). It has a cable inlet and an outlet.
To install the pushbutton, put the push button nut inside the housing and screw the button in by turning it. Use pliers and a bit of loctite to secure the thread. Insert the cables, do the wiring/soldering and use some hot glue to attach the wires inside the back area of the housing. This way, there is a strain relief.
Housing can be printed from any filament, PETG or PC is recommended.
