Makita Battery Cover/Battery Blank

I have a few Makita OPE tools that I leave in my shed for the winter. I figured, why not cover the battery terminals, instead of leaving them open to the elements? 
I'm definitely not leaving the batteries on the tools to cycle through the hot and cold!
