For having so little inside, the box that Splendor comes in is unnecessarily huge. Though I have found that the really nice versions made by kabong are super convenient, they just aren't small enough to fit in the glove box of my Karmann Ghia... so I made my own! The dimensions of this box (with Lid) are 100x143x54mm.
As a bonus, I have added a 'cheat sheet' on the inside of the Lid to help you account for all the cards/chips and to remind yourself how 2 and 3 player games are configured. The lid fits snugly without sanding. I wanted to be able to toss it in the back seat of the car without worrying about it exploding all over the place.
Isn't this just the greatest thing to ever happen to you, for, like... ever? You're welcome! :)
So, make sure you share a pic if you happen to print one out (it makes my day each time someone prints something I designed) and be sure to peruse my other submissions which are almost as varied as they are many.

Enjoy!
March 21st, 2016 update: I have added skirted versions of the holder for folks who have difficulty printing large items in ABS (rising corners). Just trim off the 3mm skirt at the bottom once it's done printing. Hope it helps.
May 22nd, 2016 update: Added the Lid (with skirt) that enshrouds the entire sides of the box. Plus, there are a different set of instructions inside. It has the same width-wise dimension as the cap, so if your printer is like mine, it'll be a pretty snug, if not impossible, fit. Let me know what you think!
June 3rd, 2016 update: Added two more skirtless lid versions.
June 22nd, 2016 update: Added an Endgame Token which can be placed in the box with the shorter 'gold' stack to fill the holder completely (makes it all feel so solid once the lid is on). The Endgame Token is placed between the start and end players so that everyone is reminded of who has the last turn. I painted mine gold and it looks cool, I tellya: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1641634
July 16th, 2016 update: Created a thick-walled version for those who prefer a beefy 3mm wall as opposed to the original 2mm version: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1675745
May 1st, 2017 update: Added the SplendorBoxFortus250.stl so that if you have a higher resolution printer, you can print out any of the lids and still have a good fit so long as you use this version of the holder printed in the same .1mm resolution printer.
July 17, 2019 update: Added a lid with no instructions printed on the inside.
May 21, 2022 update: Now there's a holder for the game expansion Cities of Splendor: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5326132
