This is a redesigned motor mount for the Towel RC Plane. The drill pattern is for a tower pro 2108-21T brushless motor with 12mm center to center spacing. The holes are countersunk so the screws fit better and allow for a slightly thicker/stronger plate.

Also shown is a front nose brace that is used to strengthen the front tip of the plane. The nose seemed to be the portion of the foam that got destroyed the fastest on the first build of this plane, so designed this to provide a bit of reinforcement without adding much weight. Although maybe that is not an issue for more experienced flyers that don't end up flying the plane nose first into the ground!
The plane was covered with red packing/sealing tape to give everything the bright red coloring you see in the pics. It is a great look compared to the naked foam used in the first build.
On the second build of this plane, shown in the pics, we also used these servo horns, they worked great and much better than the non-printed servo horns made out of coroplast that we used in the first build:
