My kids started skateboarding and wanted to learn how to do some tricks. They'd been asking me to get them some skate trainer blocks for their boards. Once we'd looked into it, I decided to make the situation an opportunity for learning.
We'd designed some simple blocks that slide over their wheels and printed them out in TPU since I had lots of that on-hand (other plastics won't survive the “abuse” that these blocks will be put through).
I recommend that the blocks be printed @ 25%-30% infill with a minimum of 4 perimeters @ 0.2mm/layer height. These will readily fit over 50mm diameter wheels.
Kids are happy and learning on all fronts with this little project. :)
