Summary:
The flat pod is the perfect solution for odd camera positions. A ball head can be attached to the 3/8” center bolt. Using the slots and Velcro straps, mount your camera to any poll or tree quickly and easily. The adjustable feet allow you to set the flat pod down on uneven terrain and level it and the oddly shaped holes on both sides allow for easy carrying using a carabiner.
Printing Instructions:
Print the flat pod flat on the bed as is.
If your printer is prone to warping, it can be helpful to add tabs by the prongs using the add shape tool and creating a circle that is one layer tall.

Post processing:
It is easiest to remove the tabs using a deburring tool. However, it can be achieved with some patience and a knife.
Assembly:
Blot the 1” long 3/8”-16 into the middle hole. This will be what you bolt your ball head onto.
Then bolt your 1-1/2” long 3/8”-16 into any of the four-foot adjustment holes from the opposite side. These bolts will act as the feet for your flat pod. This will allow you to set the flat pod down on uneven terrain and level it.
If using Velcro straps, simply slip the straps through either the vertical or horizontal slots.
