This is a tool to help open paint tubes. It was designed for a talented young artist whose major barrier to creativity is that she can't open her tubes of paint. It has also found use by people with arthritis for opening small containers.
Designed for paint tube caps from about 10–25 mm in diameter, typically 12–50 ml capacity. The guard along the back and the thumb rest helps stop fingers curling into the working grip area. They may need further design work for individual needs.
This model can be scaled in the slicer to suit larger/smaller caps. I wouldn't recommend touching the source code.
Designed for Makers Making Change.
Updated with source, corrected so the design was manifold.

Notes:
Since this design needs strong and sharp gripping teeth, I'd recommend printing with three or more external shells. While a little flex is necessary, PET-G might be too soft to be useful. An early concept design was printed in PET-G and it had no grip.
Typical print time is 90 minutes, using 16 g of filament. The author marked this model as their own original creation. Imported from Thingiverse.
