Inspired by the leather wallet I use since years and by Mobiobi's Bridge Torture Test I decided to try something unconventional which fitted my requirements:

  1. It should have space for a credit card or two.
  2. A couple of Euro or dollar bills should fit in.
  3. It can be printed with my Prusa Mini.
  4. It folds, even without using flexible materials.

Turns out that it is not so easy to fulfill all these requirements. I am trying to incorporate what I learned from the Prusa Academy Course of Design Principles, more specifically on living hidges and sacrificial columns.

I am happy with the design now, but I am not sure I will be able to figure out how to place the supports correctly before the deadline. The bridging in generally is not the problem, that I already got twice something between a spaghetti monster and an extruder blob which is time consuming…

PS: Browsing through the competition, I found a TPU Wallet with Coinpocket is nearly the original design of my favorite wallet.
