Voron 2.4 BLTouch mod for Afterburner and Stealthburner X Carriage

These models have been derived from the existing designs by Voron Design, thanks so much to the Voron Design team for the massive effort put into these excellent machines.

Centralised BLTouch mod for Voron Afterburner (AB prefixed x carriage files) and Stealthburner (SB prefixed x carriage files). A small block (x_carriage_frame_left_clamp_BLTouch.stl) forms a clamp to secure the BLTouch by using a spare M3x8mm SHC screw and M3 heat set brass insert (see orange piece in exploded view). Screw fully home when first inserting the clamp block, unscrew to apply clamping force to the BLTouch.

You will also need to trim the ears off your BLTouch (or 3D Touch), which can be done easily with a pair of side cutters or scissors. Wire to your control board taking note of the servo and sensor pins, add the following section to printer.cfg (Klipper only) adding your appropriate pin numbers (pin number for BTT Octopus 1.1 BLTouch connection shown):
