!!!! BEFORE ATTEMPTING DISASSEMBLY !!!!
The bottom back cover WILL NOT come off BEFORE the top part of the screen is disassembled. DO NOT try to force it as it WILL BREAK!!!

------------
------------
The PSone LCD screen has very brittle hinges. One of the reasons is the screw hole/stumps disintegrate spontaneously over time, as in the picture:
There's no hope to even glue this mess back. We have to make our own solution.
I have not had a top hinge failure “yet” so here's the solution for the bottom half only. If I came across one with the top hinge failure, rest assured I will get to that as well.
------------
Print all 3 pieces in their original orientation.
Before assembly, try feeding all three pieces through the center screw stump on the back cover. If any of them wouldn't go through freely, your printed hole is too tight and you need to trim its edge to ensure passage. Otherwise you won't be able to put the shell back together later.
--------------
Clean up all the remaining screw hole stumps, but try not to remove all the plastic tabs as they will help positioning the printed pieces (but if somehow they get in the way, cut them.)
Test fit the bottom pieces as shown:
Temporarily screw on the middle piece as shown. Don't put the screws all the way through yet.
IF you wish to use glue/epoxy, you can apply it now, as demonstrated.
You should not wait for the glue/epoxy to set. Instead, close the middle piece on top of the bottom piece, then tighten down the screws without lifting the bottom piece out of its place.
Drop the top piece into the back cover like this. There's no need for glue on this piece.
Note the flat side of the piece is facing outwards.
Now, try closing up the back cover by going straight in. The space for maneuvering is much tighter since we put our beefy pieces in. But the long screw stump on the back cover should be able to go through the holes on the two pieces on the hinge side, if you paid attention to the points listed in earlier steps.
The shell should close all the way nicely in as shown below.
Put back the 3 stainless steel screws and now you have a working bottom hinge again!
