Perpetual for a marble run

This is a model, similar to a perpetual motion mashine.

The marble enter in the upper level, take a round in the carousel, and leave in the

lover level. (difference 20mm)

You can choose between 2 possible entrances and 3 possible exits

Additional needed:

1x Screw M3x30

2x Nut M3

1x Screw M3x16

The ring is glued in ( I only use one ring )

Also some filing is needed, at the entrances, where the marbles will drop into the wheel,

and to make sure that the wheel turns smooth.

Support is needed for following parts:

• Grundplatte / Ground plate
• Halter / Holding Part (for escapement mechanism)
• Eingang / Entry plates

Update: 01.04.21: upload double entry

Update: 03.04.21:

Upload a 3rd entry and a triple entry.

But the triple entry has much friction where the 3 tracks join together.

It’s working, but sometimes the marbles get stuck, a second arriving marble may help then .

My suggestion if you only want to use the 3rd entry use the single one, if you want

3 entries and a lot of marbles went through, use the 3-in-1 entry.

Update: 04.04.21:

Added an axle and a clamp for the wheel, if someone prefer this

The axle is cut in 2 half, and needed to be clued together.

Some proper sanding is necessary for smooth running.

Update: 07.04.21:

Put some more clearance between the base and the escapement mechanism holder, because it fits very tight, and something could break.

Update: 11.04.21:

Take back the old clearance between the base and the escapement mechanism holder, because now it could be to loose.

Put a chamfer on the bottom, so it slips in easier.
