This design has the following Customizer options:
This is a print-in-place design, meaning it is intended to be printed at a single part. The pin section will have a tendency to sag. To counteract this, you should favour a higher number of Knuckles, as this will reduce the length of each pin section. You should also use a moderate Gap_Percentage, but note that too much of a gap will can cause unwanted travel in the final part (X axis), so use your judgement and adjust it suit to the other parameters you have chosen.
Whilst this design can support a small amount of weight, it is not intended to be load bearing. However, it may be possible to increase it's strength a little by increasing the Material_Thickness.
We recommend printing this in a durable filament, such as ABS or nylon.
Recommended slicer settings:
We also recommend printing this with a high cooling fan speed, to help reduce sagging of the pin.
