Updates

31/7-2022 - New Sideplate: Hexagon with Printebels logo.

9/8-2022 - New Sideplate: Striped.

----

First choose the main part depending on the amount of cards you have. It is also possible to make your own size by scaling the "scalable" version on the high in your slicer. Note: Normally Cards are between 0,8 mm and 1,2 mm

The 4,8 mm can typically fit 5 cards (4 of the thin type and one inboosed card).

  • 3,6 mm - 3 to 4 cards (minimum)
  • 4,8 mm - 4 to 6 cards
  • 6,0 mm - 5 to 7 cards
  • 7,2 mm - 6 to 9 cards

----

Next up you have the option of picking between different side plates, it is also possible to make your own. You really can't go wrong! Also all the plates can be mounted on either side.

Currently I offer four pre-made options.

  • Flat - a simple flat plate that can be printed on different print surfaces for a textured look. Also on a smooth sheet the surface is perfect for stickers.
  • Hexagon - this plate has a hexagonal pattern we're the recessed part is bridging witch gives a unique texture. (I recommend to set bridging angel to 30 or 150 deg)
  • Hexagon w/Printables - simply the Hexagon but with the Printables logo.
  • Striped - simple diagonal striped pattern with depth for bridging. (the pattern is at a 30 degree angle)

----

Finally it's time to print!

The side plates are printed face down with the alignment pins aimed upwards.

  • 3 perimeters & 100% infill.

The main part is printed laid down on either side.

  • 3,6 mm and 4,8 mm: 3 perimeters & 25% Gyroid infill
  • 6 mm and 7,2 mm: 2 perimeters & 15% Gyroid infill

Layer height: 0.2 mm

----

Assembly

  1. Dry fit all pieces and check for interference, make sure they can go together without any gaps.
  2. Put some super glue on the posts and put on one side plate at a time. Warning: make sure not to get any glue in the gap that allows the mekanism to snap the cards in and out.
  3. All done, enjoy! :)
