I recently got a few strings of LED lights as a gift. When going to hang them up I thought to myself… I could go buy some clips, but why do that when I can make my own?
So, I thought it would be fun to make these. My lights are in the shape of stars, so I made some star-shaped clips to match. These can be attached to a wall with some sticky tack and will hold a string of lights no problem, or other light items.
They're about 40mm square in length and a single one should print in 10-20 minutes, maybe even shorter if you've got a zippy printer. (Mine print in about 12.) No supports are needed.
I've also included a version without the hook if you feel like using them as decoration. Maybe print some out in a glow in the dark filament and stick them on your ceiling to relive your childhood? ;)
More shapes and sizes coming soon!
