Quite easy to loosen the hinge
A bit harder to open the lid than PETG but if you push the lid towards the hinge a tiny bit it is quite easy.
PETG

A bit harder to loosen the hinge. Please try to grip near the hinge when loosen it. (I've never failed)
The lid is not so tight as the PLA but it's alright.
Complaints
I got complaints that the box doesn't fold and that the cards doesn't fit.
Well the hinge is very tight and can be a little difficult to break loose, but just keep your fingers, left hand and right hand indexfinger and thumb, near the hinge and bend and it should loosen. Check the videos above!
I have tested a lot and if I made a wider gap the hinge got flappy.
Please have some patience when loosing the hinges, especially for PETG
And I also got complaints that the cards doesn't fit.
The size of a credit card is 85.6 x 53.98 mm and the inner size of the box is 87.6 x 57 so it should fit. If you have many cards in the box the the snap lock may seem to be in the way, but should be free if you shake down the cards to the left, against the hinge.
At least six card fits before it interferes with the snap lock.
That said, models with hinges can't be scaled down, at least not this box!
