Why keep the room lights on when you just need to see the printer's bed?

Add this easy-to-print lighting setup up and get lit!

Snap-on lighting for a Prusa MK2 and possible MK3. Uses a 12v 17cm DRL (Daytime Running Light).

Print instructions

Best printed in PETG or ABS. Depending on the light, it could get warm and deform PLA.

25% infill. No supports. Prints quickly at 0.35mm layers or try 0.2mm.

a 17mm 12v COB DRL LED is needed for the light. run the wire through either arm. Best would be to run it down the right side and wire directly to the terminal block on the power supply.

For an MK3, you'd need a step-down converter to drop the voltage from 24v to 12v to power the light without burning it out.
