Simple gear replacement for the Sony SL-2500 - one of Sony's Betamax players with an overengineered tape load mechanism that tends to break. Specifically, it has two plastic gears that take most of the load from the mechanism movement and they broke - a lot - even when the machines weren't that old. Finding proper replacement parts to keep the old machine going is basically a lost cause at this time, so... we turn to 3D printing!
Couldn't seem to find anything like this posted myself, so now it exists!
While I have a working example made out of standard photoresin, for durability I'd recommend printing it in whatever stronger resin you have available. Probably not really printable with an FDM printer, though a smaller nozzle might work.
