Pencil mount Whistle

This rescue whistle has been designed to be as small as possible and to fit easily into the last rescue box (in Czech called KPZ - "krabička poslední záchrany"). 

It produces a high-pitched shrill tone (as you would expect from a rescue whistle).

The other end is used to attach to a pencil - in our case, a short one from IKEA.
