Settlers of Catan Storage Bin Lids for Modular Box System

These are press in lids to cover the open storage bins in the "Longest Road" and "Largest Army" modular storage boxes. I used the modular boxes to store the Settlers game but the storage bins had no way of containing items if the box was tilted. I wanted to design something that kept within the character of the game. The lid handles are Wheat Stalks and a Sheep which are both resources.

Notes:

I recommend a fill of at least 30% to provide handle strength and a good feel.

The Wheat lid only requires support set to "Touching Buildplate."

Sheep Lid

Support setting should be set to "Everywhere." Adjust the support overhang angle until support is generated under the ears and chin. In Cura it should be about 75.

The lids have thin ridges on the edges to provide an interference fit into the bin opening. If the fit is too tight then lightly sand the ridges.
