The lid and cap were printed upside down with 30% infill .
The alignment jig/display stand was printed at 20% infill with Hatchbox Wood PLA.
The diffuser is printed in spirilize/vase mode with top/bottom thickness of zero and a brim.
The diffuser can be printed in clear or a color.

The Reflector is printed in white, or painted white, or covered in aluminum foil.
Cage and Lamp Body Assembly Instructions
Remove any remaining brim and over extrusion prior to assembly.
If you opt to not print the display/alignment stand then skip steps 6 and 9.
Cage
Glue the ribs to the rings by placing a small drop of glue at each joint. Do not glue ribs into the lantern body at this time. 9. After drying remove from display stand. 10. Glue the bottom rib joints together.
Lamp Body
Prior to final assembly do any sanding and finishing required. The fits between parts is tight; any filler or paint will need to be sanded to allow assembly of the ribs into the lantern base.

Wiring
LED Lamp and Reflector Assembly
LED Lighting
LED's have a negative and positive connection. Depending on the LED manufacturer the positive (anode) is either the longer lead or the one opposite a flat side on the LED. The remaining lead is the negative(cathode).
If connected backward it will not light.
-LED Lamp Assembly
If they don't light try reversing the connection.
If they still don't light the LEDs are connected together incorrectly. Try again. 5. When they light, solder the connections.
-Reflector Assembly (Optional)
The reflector can be either printed in white, or painted white, or covered with aluminum foil.
For reference only. Not to scale. Measurements in millimeters.
Lantern Cap Assembly
A medium gauge wire clothes hanger measures 1.92mm. It will be weaker than piano wire but may be an alternative.
