This is a holder for a JetPens exclusive Kanso Noto notebook. For those who don't know, the Kanso Noto is a notebook filled with delicate paper for writing on with fountain pens. It can be found here!
Since the pages are so delicate, I wanted a protective sleeve to carry it in so it wouldn't get crushed in my bag when slinging it around. So I made this model, which features a nice flush fit and cut-outs to display the gilded text, even on the backside of the notebook! It also has chamfers on the edges of the slot so the Kanso Noto slides in easier, reducing the risk of crumpling a page.
This model features many lightening cuts so that you don't need a lot of filament to print it - Cura predicts about 50 g worth of PLA. However, they do add a lot of time to print, as the model prints vertically and the holes add a lot of starts and stops - around 11-12 hours for my Ender 3 Pro and 0.4mm nozzle. Also, please orient the holder in a standing position for printing.
I hope a few fellow stationery nerds like myself find this helpful!
Included are the .stl files and the Fusion360 archive file if you want to play around with the model.
The author hasn't provided the model origin yet.
