Turns out one fan isn't enough if you want to have perfect prints on your Ender 3 or any of the Ender 3 derivatives. So I began search for dual fan hotend enclosure and came across this one. As some things in original model were adjusted to Orbiter extruder and not standard Ender 3 bowden extruder, I decided to adapt to my needs. I edited the backplate to fit Ender extruder plate easily and also the front to accomodate LED strip and to align neatly with backplate.
And I can say I'm very happy with the result. Cooling has improved a lot and being able to see what's printed is a great benefit. Also, the serviceability of this design is very cool.

Assembly
Start the assembly by mounting the backplate to the metal x axis plate using two original allen head bolts. Next, mount the fans using 4x allen head M2x8 mm screws. The two screws closer to the backplate are little bit harder to install, be patient. Now you can mount the hotend. Next, take the front part and install two thread inserts, put in the fan and use two M3x13 screws to secure it into place. Continue by screwing two 3x14 mm self tapping screws on both sides of front part which will enable the front part to pivot. Now you can glue in your LED strip and do some cable management. Lastly close the enclosure and use 3x8 mm self tapping screw to latch it. DONE!
