I wanted something simple to protect the bottom of the Pico while I prototyped. Just place the Pico on top and then use something hot (I used a soldering iron at lowest temp) to squish the stakes to hold the pico in place. Removing the Pico is as simple as scraping the top of the stakes off, or just popping the Pico off.
Does require the headers installed on top, but that's how I use my prototyping Pico. Will work with male headers too, as long as the soldered ends are no more than ~3.5mm (extending 2.4mm below the board).
