A minimalistic display stand for the CMY Cube (50mm version) tuned to let as much of the cube visible without compromising the stability.
When Aston Martin designed the One-77 (launched in 2009), they decided that they would treat the areas of the car that end up being invisible to the public (nicknamed B Surfaces) with the same care as the visible parts. So they claimed that this car would have no B Surface. See the only reference I could find today about this.
When designing this modest object, I made my best to follow this principle. I hope it shows and gives you a pleasant feeling.
I hope that you'll be able to use my gcode
file but if you need to slice the model, please refer to the following settings for a great outcome.
Please ask away if you need other versions by leaving a comment on this object or sending me a message through my profile page. I will make the OpenSCAD source code available as soon as I find the time to make it as clean as I like.
Of course, a link back to here is highly appreciated but not mandatory. Enjoy. 😊
Nice people can also buy me a coffee at ko-fi, they take 0 fee !
