I've been sick about the bulky "okish" solution for the mounting plate of the Sculpfun S10 laser head to my S9.
So I've designed my own, lightweight cover. It only weights 13 g after printing my version, so no much weight added to the axis. Changing the height is now as easy with the original S9 laser head and also the used Z-height adjustment tool works again.
I've designed several version, depending on your tool-box.
I did only test the version with thread inserts and M4x10 Hex screws, but the others should work as well.
Tools needed for each print are mentioned in the name of the part.
If using the upgrade kit, you will get 2x M4x8 hand knurl screws delivered. The versions without the M4x10 screws should fit with the original screws.
The parts without the thread inserts do have a M4 thread modelled inside, but keep in mind, that the tolerances might be small here. I've widened it up by 0.1 mm to have bigger tolreances, but did not test this.
Hope you enjoy.
