Updated the hole size and made the back feet more firm. Also named all components in the .3mf file to make things easier.
This is the kind of toy I would fidget with when I was a kid. A little Transformers Micro-cassette. While it does have many parts, it’s decently robust once made; suitable to keep in your pocket.
Fits inside a G1 Soundwave :)
Printing at 0.15mm layer height is okay.
Support is needed for this one…and fine tipped tweezers to remove those supports. Or use disolvable support and a toothbrush.
To get better detail of the letters, I suggest using a 0.25mm nozzle.
The model is put together with size #1 - ¼" wood screws. The four leg/knee screws need to be cut flush after installing. I used an old pair of flush-cut pliers that I didn't mind dulling.
I started the prototypes in single color and they don't look half bad, so if you don't have an mmu or multiple extruders, no worries; this model may still be for you.
I bought a MMU2S specifically for this model. Mainily for the ability to use water disolvable support. The colors are all on the bottom layer so the non-mmu manual color change technique is possible with this one, but traditional support leaves the thighs a little rough on one side.
The author hasn't provided the model origin yet.
