Soldering station for a Ryobi soldering iron

Note: 

This model will fit any soldering iron that is the same in shape as the one in the image. There are more than one company that sell this soldering iron.

I recently got a solering iron! my first one too. i looked online for a soldering station to suit it but could not find one… so i made this one! 

It features…

parts trays for all of your parts holding needs…

a sponge holder (or a steel wool holder) that is modular…

a version with four expansion slots in case anyone wants to make their own expansions…

step files for all of the parts so you can remix them for your own needs…

a third hand for holding wires and other things…

a solder spool holder…

and finally bit holders.

gcodes are available but if you want to chandge it up here are the settings i changed

Supports: 

I used custom supports in prusaslicer to put supports at the top of the dome so it is easy to remove and still stay.

I used custom supports on the tray to help bridge the gap for the input.

Settings: 

I did not change any settings from the stock settings.

i printed in 0.15 layer height in grey PETG

Finally i have put the .3mf files in the downloads so you can get and chnage it as much as you like!

This was designed to fit on my prusa i3 mk3s+ i do not know if it will fit on other printers. so your results may vary. 

I used these links for the third hand function they are great! Credit to the designer!

I used the stand that comes with the ryobi soldering iron to hold the hot bit so if you do not have the stand you will just have to cut one out of some metal that is about half a millimetre thick. you can also bend it a bit to get it to hold in there or just glue it!
