This mount is designed to hold the cable from the Creality Sprite Extruder Pro kit. The model referenced in the documentation fit poorly, had sharp edges, and looked bad. This design is cleaner and fits better, while holding the cable securely.
The holder mounts where the old extruder motor was located. The 4mm screw holes are located 31mm apart. This is a standard stepper size, so this should fit a variety of printers, but was designed for the Ender 3 and Ender 3 Pro.
The gap for the cable is 1.9mm, which holds the cable perfectly snug. The model can flex when inserting the cable, so there's some play initially.
Inspired by RedSpaceAlien's make, I added a version with slots for zip ties. This allows you to secure any additional cables. Their original remix is available here.
The "thinner" segment of the base should should be oriented towards the rear of the printer (see the second photo). This ensures clearance with the Z axis rod.
When printing, I suggest 3 vertical shells and 5 top/bottom layers. Infill doesn't matter too much, so I used 15%.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
