Introduction

I've remixed my Ultimate Mini Spinning Top so you can use up the rest of the steel balls from the 8x22x7 ball bearing. Ideally you have a 4 mm or a 5 mm steel ball for this design. If you don't have a bearing at hands there is also a version which does not require a steel ball.

Print Settings

  • 0.1 - 0.15 mm layer height (0.1 mm recommended)
  • 3-4 perimeters
  • >20 % infill (heavier tops typically spin longer)
  • make sure “Thin walls” is checked

You'll get the best looking results if you print the parts sequentially

Assembly Instructions

The top and bottom part should fit snugly in the ring (you may also use some glue). If the fit is too loose or to tight, just scale the ring by 0.5-1 % accordingly.
Give it a good spin!

Happy Printing
