Hanging self watering plant pot

A hanging basket for all herbals, flowers and plants. Everything I planted so far in this baskets, still lives and looks lucky. My personal favorite: basil. Since I planted it in the hanging basket, it looks always pretty and never dries out.

I'm watering it once a week directly into the pot (not the basket).

• Use 5 perimeters for the pot

I printed the pot with several Prusament PETG and had only with the yellow one some water leeks, all other colors are still watertight.

Manufacturing

• Use 3 same-length strings of about 50-100cm.
• Add one knot to the end each and insert the strings through the holes in the pot.
• Knot a knot at about 40-60cm height for the string positioner. 
• Thread the positioner in place.
• Knot all three things together.

Planting

Insert 1-2 strings into the holes of the basket. These strings suck the water up to the plant at the beginning. After 2-3 weeks, the roots of the plant find its way to the water by self.
