This is a part so I can use a USB-C "extension" cable (male -> female) in place of the usb-a port that my travel backpack came with.
FYI I made the tolerances very tight because I wanted to ensure it would not move around. I actually shaved some edges a tiny bit with an x-acto to get the usb cable properly seated but the end result is very sturdy.
Also due to the length of the female usb-c port it's a tight fit to get the cable+adapter in place but it does hold in place very well once it's wedged in.
Link to onShape in case you need to edit / remix for a different cable
Kudos to user unrelentingtech who made something similar I did some research before making my own to see if anyone else had already done it but unfortunately theirs was not the same model as mine. So be sure to check that out if this one doesn't fit your bag/port.
