After I upgraded my Ender 3 Pro extruder to a Micro Swiss Direct Drive, cable management became an issue. Thus, I decided to embed all cables from the extruder into a cable chain and lead them to the rear-box, where the controller board and a RPi are enclosed.
The tricky part was to divert the cable chain nicely to the back. So I remodeled a x-gantry cover with chain adapters and added a half cylinder on the inside to protect the cables from being worn from the belt and pulley of the x-stepper.
The adapters fit the well-known cable chain designed by @jonnywhiskey.
This cover can also be used with my cable holder I designed and remodelled for a Micro Swiss Direct Drive
If you like my stuff, then please leave a 👍 and post a make. Thanks!
