In this build I re-used blueberry packaging for the planter. The plastic buckets which are used in germany (maybe even whole europe or the world?) have holes in the bottom to let water out. Which is what most plants like. Instead of throwing them away, we use them for keeping the dirty parts in the planter/vase. Which is nice, because it also has a handle where you can pull it out easily and look into the dirt.
There are versions with a hole for drainage, without drainage (watertightness depends on your settings) and a base to keep the water contained if needed.
I printed the shown pictures in vase mode with a 1,4mm CHT nozzle on my Prusa Mini+ (Shown in the pictures) with 0,8mm layers. For this i adapted the 0,8 nozzle profile, keeping the speeds but increasing the measurements. Worked really well. The planter takes about 2h.
As filament I used Fillamentum Muhka, Peppered Mustard, Ruby Red and RecyclingFabrik Schlafender Flamingo.
If you like the idea, please give it a thumbs up. I will try to get some more measurements from other containers, there are some i want to add: Joghurt Containers, Tomatos and so on.
Even if you do not use it for the Upcylcing, i think the simple design looks good.
