Post Insulator outrigger V2

The Electric Fence Outrigger V2 has been redesigned to streamline the printing and installation process, while using the same tried and tested design.

The Electric Fence Outrigger V2 comes in two lengths; 160 mm and 110 mm. The Outrigger may be placed on the top of a post pointing up towards the sky or on the post near the top but on its side facing the animal parallel to the ground, thus keeping the animal away from the post. I have tested infill settings from 60% to 15%. trust me when I say 15% is definitely strong enough.

The electric wire or tape gap is 2 mm. This should allow you to squeeze a 3mm fence wire through. The wire gap is 45 degrees, so no supports are required for printing.

The base screw hole is 6.2 mm in diameter, it's on an angle to make fixing the insulator on the post easier. The screw hole will accommodate a 12G Hex head screw, a 50 mm long screw is recommended. Otherwise use either a nail with a head larger than 6.2 mm or use two nails alongside each other.
