I find the idea or the implementation how they solved it awesome. There are now some mods with Linaer rails in Y, I developed something myself, but your idea shouldn't cause any inhibition when screwing and so the Y-carriage can still be moved well if it is screwed on properly.

Those are the parts I'm using on my Prusa Bear upgrade... I'm trying to re-use the U bolt concept.
