Amazing project. Planning to buy a 3d printer first :D. A question: do you know about any robotized mount 3d print project? Thanks

Not sure where to ask this question so hopefully, this is a good place. I also hope you’ll be patient with my naivety😄! I printed the Hadley and structurally everything is great. I have it perfectly collimated but my question is adjusting the distance from the front section of the scope to the back section. The instructions suggest it should be about 261/4 inches. But I assume for best results that is why people perform a “first focus” where they focus on a stop sign etc a long ways down the road. I have tried that but I am missing something because I can’t ever get the sign in focus. Should 261/4” be close enough or can someone describe for me how to do a first focus in a detailed way. Thanks for the help!

Awesome design. Really happy with how this turned out.

Jez, i allways wanted to build a telescope since I ve seen the skyward150. No am a finally able to, and I've found this one. I am overwhelmed by the options, not to mention headly 2, skyward 200 and all those mods... Where shall I start ..

This was an incredible experience! I am convinced that stargazing packs an even bigger emotional punch when you are looking through a telescope you built yourself!
Still having some trouble with the included sites. I think I’ll get a telrad soon.

Update: After printing a vice for my phone, I took some pictures of the supermoon. It was so exciting! (edited)

@PaukSK_388616 I see that everything is very simple for you, I think I will do the same, can you tell me which models exactly you printed?

@_3691604 i made this before there was a metric kit, a created few new models, modified existing mesh files to match mine hardware and remade the small mirror adjuster
