Why not upcycle a used tin can to create a water-regulating 3D printed plant pot?
Start by using a can opener to remove the top and bottom of a typical soup/vegetable can. Stackable cans with rounded bases probably won’t work for this. This model will fit a can with a 75mm diameter.
Then print a funnel section and a base section. It prints without supports, and doesn’t use much filament.
You can decorate the can, but I left mine plain for this photo so you can see the materials.
