Satsana Ender 3 Direct Drive

Unfortunately the makers of the models i remixed are not on this website but they are on thingiverse which is where i got the models from, check them out. eric-anastas made the satsana ender 3 fan shroud and Achocho made the Ender 2/3/5 Bmg direct drive mount.

I have remixed the popular Satsana ender 3 fan duct with an ender 3 direct drive mount, I have printed them both seperatel yand know they both work well so i decided to combine them since they otherwise cannot be used together. This also improves the pre-existing direct drive mount as it has a little bit of wobble currently but this should get rid of that. I would recommend printing it in a material like PETG or ABS as it might need to cope with some heat. The direct drive mount uses a BMG extruder with a pancake motor but a normal size motor will work.

It needs to be printed with supports, i would recommend printing it at a -90 degree angle on the x axis

Update: 

I am pleased to say that I have printed it and that it works beautifully. Unfortunately the original model has a small square were the 40x10 hot end fan should go, it can be sanded / cut down if you have printed the old model but if you haven’t I have deleted it and replaced it with an updated and fixed version so no need to worry.
