guys why wont the bolt go into the cap

@case_4128838 As stated in the notes, you should clean up printed threads with tap/die for smooth mating of parts.

Perfect! Just what I was looking for. Used SUNLU PETG.

I didn't want to buy bolts so I just printed the Metric bolts as well. 3 of them are Cap head with Phillips drive Cause I wanted those bolts to be as flush with the model as possible. the Rest were printed Hex and I just tightened those with a regular 10mm socket by hand.

The file named "bolt" for some reason was not the correct size for me when printing. I scaled it down about 20% to get it to thread on the the model with ease.

I also put a little bit of grease on the sliding portion of the model which is why it is slightly colored red there. NOT necessary but I thought it made it a bit smoother.

Also, I know that it was recommended in the description of the model to clean the threads with a Tap an Dye. However, Even with my 3D printed screws they were able to thread on rather easily when printing the spooler itself in 0.12 layer height.

I have not been able to get the arms to print regardless of the orientation I put them on the bed. The ball end pops off.

@mwseagren_500328 Sorry to hear that. I printed all parts at once using the FishingRodSpooler.stl file which shows the correct orientation to print all parts. I printed with PETG which sticks extremely well to my print bed and there were no issues. Hope this helps.
